Pastor Josh Greene
Pastor Josh and his wife Carrie have made Green Meadows their home since 2011. God has blessed them with three children so far: Sarah, JD, and Josiah. Josh studied at UNC-Wilmington and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning degrees in literature and pastoral ministry. Before coming to Green Meadows, Josh served as a pastor, youth pastor, and worship leader for ten years. A preacher at heart, he is a dedicated student of God’s Word, and preaches expository messages with passion and conviction- and often humor. Pastor Josh is also a missionary, having served the Lord in Russia, Ukraine, Honduras, Taiwan and even Timbuktu! His chief goal in ministry can be summed up by Paul’s testimony in Acts 20:27- “I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.”
Pastor James Buchanan
The son of a Baptist preacher, Pastor James began his ministry at Green Meadows in 2011, following years of distinguished service in sister congregations in the Carolinas. Music and pastoral care are his biggest responsibilities, but his ministry encompasses much more. James is a passionate worship leader whose great desire is to lead others to the throne of grace each week in our services. He reminds the congregation and his choir often that “God is good,” and everyone benefits from his wealth of wisdom and experience. James has been married to his wife Karen for over 30 years, and God blessed them with two children and four grandchildren.
Christina came on as a staff member at Green Meadows in 2016. She has been a part of Green Meadows all of her life and enjoys being able to minister to her church family as an official staff member. She sees this role as an open door that God has given her to be part of the work God is doing at Green Meadows and through our missionaries and mission teams. In her spare time, she enjoys making quilts for family and friends.
