We are so glad that you are interested in our church and would love to tell you more about who we are. The people of Green Meadows are not only passionate about serving the Lord through our various ministries, but are also passionate about getting those who are not yet involved in a ministry to be a part of our many opportunities!

Green Meadows is located a few miles north of Davie Hospital at 1646 NC Highway 801 North, near Farmington. Some people wear suits and ties, others wear blue jeans. You’ll be welcomed warmly no matter what you’re wearing!

Sunday School- 9:15 & 10:45 AM

We have Sunday school at 9:15 & 10:45 AM. Our Sunday school includes classes for all ages! The kids classes are divided by grade, while the adult classes are divided into life-stages. All classes for children, youth, and parents are at 9:15. Please contact the church office for more information about which Sunday school class you should attend by emailing office@gmbc.life or calling (336)998-3022.

Morning Worship- 9:15 AM & 10:45 AM

We have two identical worship services at 9:15 & 10:45 AM. All of our families with children and youth attend the 10:45 AM service, as the Sunday school hour for children & youth is at 9:15. However, you may attend whichever worship service you prefer.

Our Morning Worship includes worship songs that consist of a blend of hymns and contemporary Christian music. We worship with a variety of instruments including a piano, keyboard, acoustic guitar, cajon, and bass guitar. The goal in music is participatory worship! We want every member of the congregation to engage in praising the Lord. We sing a great blend of traditional and contemporary songs because the Lord is honored by the genuine worship in both. Performance is never the goal of a worship service at Green Meadows, the goal is to make worshiping the Lord accessible for all believers. The Bible makes it clear that worship is so important for every believer as a way of giving thanks to God for all that He has done.

Meeting in the Mod (Youth)- 5:00-8:00 PM

Our Sunday night youth meetings are a great time of worship and fellowship for our youth who are in grades 6-12. The Youth have a time to sing songs, play games, and have a Bible Study!

Wednesday Night Is Family Night!

We serve supper in the Fellowship Hall from 5:30-6:15 PM on Wednesday nights. Sample menus include hamburgers, fried chicken, or Chick-Fil-A. Following the meal, our Wednesday night activities begin at 6:30 PM, including Kids On Mission and Bible study for youth and adults in the sanctuary.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the "Invitation"?

The invitation is an opportunity for the congregation to respond to the message our pastor preaches from the Bible. People come forward during the invitation to pray because they see in the Scripture a need for change in their lives to be right with God. Some people come to pray for a special need they are facing, like sickness or an unsaved family member. Some choose to counsel with the pastor about their spiritual needs and ask him to pray for them. The invitation is also the right time to ask the pastor about baptism and church membership.

How can I join Green Meadows Baptist Church?

You should speak to one of the pastors about joining the church. To be a member at Green Meadows, you must acknowledge that Jesus is your Lord and be baptized by immersion. If you have been previously baptized, you do not need to be re-baptized.

How do I become a Christian?

A, B, C:

A—Admit to God that you are a sinner. “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23).

B—Believe that Jesus is God’s Son. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life,” (John 3:16).

C—Confess your faith in Jesus as your Savior and Lord. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved,” (Romans 10:9).
